About

Helping You Move More, Gain Confidence, and Learn From My Mistakes

Hey! I’m Sydney Richardson, your friendly neighbourhood trainer. I started this blog as a way to combine two of my greatest loves; fitness and writing. After my own journey of growth and suffering, I’m still growing through it by the way, I realized a couple things and I thought that if I could help one person other than myself, I would be content.

But I couldn’t stop at one.

I became a personal trainer to help people, but I ended up learning how to better help myself as well.

Why I’m Here

The most important lesson I’ve learned in my fitness journey? Sometimes you need to ask for help, and sometimes you even need to pay for it. But no one else can help you get back up except for you. It was my own trainer who inspired me to help others the way that he helped me.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Real, Relatable Fitness Tips – Practical advice based on my own experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
  • Training That Feels Like You’re Working With a Real Person – I’m not here for perfect routines or quick fixes—I’m here to make sure you feel supported and understood.
  • Confidence Building – Whether it’s moving more, feeling good in your body, or learning new skills, I’m all about making you feel stronger both physically and mentally.
  • Mistakes & Lessons – I don’t believe in hiding the tough stuff. I’ll share my mistakes so you can learn from them and avoid common pitfalls in your own journey.

A Little More About Me

  • I’m relatively new to training, but I’m committed to learning from those around me and always asking the right questions. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll find it.
  • My style is down-to-earth and honest, with a focus on making fitness feel fun, approachable, and light-hearted.
  • I want you to feel like you’re listening to someone who gets it—not just a trainer, but a real person who’s also learning and growing every day.

Let’s start building your strength, confidence, and habits—one step at a time. Together, we’ll keep it fun, and we’ll learn from every part of the process.
